The 9/11 National Day of Service Project for Oneida County scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2024.
Projects discussed:
Food Drive – Contact people: Toni Werk and Brian Jeppsen
Community Youth Groups will be designated to collect food items and deliver to the Victory Baptist Church, 448 S. Main Street between 9 AM and 10 AM. Interfaith Council will sort, separate, count and box items and then deliver to the Crisis Center. (The Victory Baptist Church will receive all outdated items that the Crisis Center cannot.)
Cherry Creek Cemetery - Toni Werk will contact the Cemetery Committee, Rob Broadhead, Steve Werk, Brig and Teresa Jones, Mike Jones and others to prepare a plan and recruit helpers.

Tree trimming at Presbyterian Church - the trimming could be done prior to the Service Day and the Boy Scouts or Youth Groups could remove the debris on the Day of Service.
